Luminal Universe

Luminal Universe is phase 2 of the Luminal project: a collection of 1444 PFP NFTs, made up of three species of lifeform that exist within the territories and lore of the original collection's 444 Genesis worlds.

You may have heard Luminal Universe referred to as 'the main project', and that's because this was what was originally planned. The Genesis NFTs will provide the greater benefits, but moving forward into phases 3 and beyond, a Luminal Universe NFT will be required to participate.

Mint Details

As of yet, no dates have been announced for our launch of the Luminal Universe collection. The mint details we have announced are as follows:

  • 1444 NFTs

  • 444 are FREE mints to Genesis holders

  • 1000 are WL mints at 0.04 ETH

  • Any remaining go to public mint at 0.04 ETH

Luminal Universe NFTs

The Luminal Universe NFTs will be split into 7 different factions, across 6 different base models. From an art perspective, the split will be as follows:

  • Human Male Base

  • Human Female Base

  • Silica Male Base

  • Silica Female Base

  • Draal

  • Alpha Inifinitum

Depending on its base model, each NFT will be assigned traits from a series of model-specific traits. Whilst the design may be slightly different between male and female humans, the trait will be the same when it comes to rarity calculations. Draal/Silicas/AIs will have their own unique sets of traits.

It's too early to disclose numbers of each trait/base model, but rest assured they will all look uniquely different. This is one of a number of benefits to having a smaller collection; particularly one with 6 different base models. We want your Luminal character/PFP to be personal to you. On minting your character, you will be able to submit a name for your character through our website. To avoid names like Ronald McDonald or Trainy McTrainface, we're going to be vetting the names that come in. Once approved, your name will be updated in the NFT's metadata, and as such will show on marketplaces such as Opensea. If your name is rejected, you'll be able to submit a name again (there may be a limit on this so we don't get spammed with stupid names). Try to think of a name fitting for your character(s) and the lore as a whole.

We're also going to give you the option of renaming an NFT if you buy it on the secondary market. This will be for a small, nominal fee in ETH; 50% of which will go to Genesis holders.

As the Luminal story progresses, and events/encounters occur, your character may have data added to its description on Opensea. Picture this; your NFT is selected to be part of an invasion force with its species. He/she survives but is significantly battle-hardened by the ordeal. This information would be added to the metadata of your NFT. Secondary market buyers might even look for 'heroes' over rares... Who knows? Someone might really want that Draal with hundreds of executions to his name... So many possibiities.
